Just Be You

So many people try copying other people rather than being themselves. They don't realize that each person is different, no one is the same. Some of us walk the same path, but that doesn't make us the same, we are different. We need to be ourselves.

Each and every person is unique, to be unique you don't have to be the same as someone else, to be unique you have to be you, you have to be yourself.

I've had people tell me they don't want me doing this or that or that they don't like it when I am being myself, they didn't want me to be Esther, they wanted me to be someone else. I almost let them win, but one of my older sisters said "Esther, G-d won't ask you why you were not more like this or that person, instead He is going to ask you, Why weren't you more like Esther?" "If you try to be someone else then who is going to be Esther?" I was then able to go back to being myself, believe me it can be hard to take the first step, but seriously we all need to stop thinking "But what will they think" because it does not matter what they think.

G-d won't ask you why you weren't wise like Solomon, or strong like Sampson, or like anyone else, He will ask you why you weren't more like you.
We have to give it all we've got, because in this world we only have what we've got. *

Each person has a purpose in life that G-d  has given to them, each person also has a different personality so that they can do whatever it is that G-d wants them to do.

No matter what, always be yourself, and just remember it doesn't matter what other people think, what matters is what does G-d think? G-d made you the way He did for a reason, so I'm sure it pleases Him to see you being you rather than someone else.

If you like to dance to your music, than do it. It doesn't matter what others think. This goes for a lot of other things as well.
