Cake Decorating Tips

Here is the post that you all have been waiting for. I hope you find the tips helpful and I hope that for those of you who are into cake decorating you find something that will make your cake decorating much easier. 1. Use wax paper, trace around the pan with a black permanent marker or a pen, the pen will just leave a small dent around. Cut it out then after you grease the pan with Crisco you just place the wax paper in the pan. Then when the cake is done being baked just go around the cake with a table knife. After flipping the cake, remove the wax paper. The wax paper will make getting you cake out much easier. 2. Yes you can make the cake from scratch; but when you're going to be taking the cake out of the pan to decorate it, it's a much better idea to use a cake mix. 3. I know I said that this next post would be about cake decorating tips, however about two weeks ago or so my three little sisters had a cake decorating lesson with Grandma, so the cake decorating tip post will have to wait until another day.                                                           Grandma was helping the girls put wax paper in the pans so that the cakes would not stick. One of the baking mixes and some oil. I think Jennella was telling Carrie how to grease the pans. Carrie is greasing her pan. Marykaytelyn is mixing up her cake. Some of the cakes are ready to go into the oven. Jennella is making her cake. Carrie is reading the directions on her cake mix box.
